Since Canada has only one NBA team (Raptors) which is located in the East, it is only appropriate to create one in the West. That way most canadians in the west will go and watch their games. Making a more profit than if it is to be created in the U.S. since they have more teams (29 to be specific)
Therefore an expansion in Canada would be a smart business decision.
