competition: Scariest experience you've ever had

my s/n says it all. iraq is bad enough, but being forgotten far outside the green zone with enough ammo to survive for about 11 minutes.... found my own way back over the next month

so i was left out there. i was too scared to talk to people because the fear of being killed was great. i ran the wrong way for two days and found mysefl in a much worse place. had to ditch my issue

they came out 30 minutes later to pick up the pieces. group 1 thought group picked me up, and vise versa.

i was an MP attached to the 3rd ID. i was out in it. i made it back. there was an IED that killed everyone in my HMMWV

the same path as me. your a good soldier, ive never heard of an mp in the hostile zones, alone and made his way back. took some guts. ive known soldiers to kill themselves out of fear of being alone.

we were on the same side. i have detailed lists of all forces involved. i am MP 31-b. i know a bit more than the avg soldier. trust me, if they vanished into some black list, i have access to it.
